Volunteer with Us

At Imara, volunteering is not a pastime—it is a commitment to professionalism, purpose, and service. Real impact requires real responsibility, and those who join us take part in work that strengthens communities and builds global resilience. If you have the heart to serve and the drive to apply your skills where they matter most, you are in the right place.

Our program welcomes individuals at different levels of availability and experience. Whether you can collaborate occasionally or wish to contribute more deeply, Imara offers a structured path for meaningful engagement. Every journey begins as a Collaborator, with the opportunity—over time and demonstrated commitment—to become a long-term Volunteer.

Collaborators and Volunteers share a common purpose, but their level of responsibility and commitment differs. Collaborators support projects on a flexible, as-available basis, while Volunteers take on sustained roles with higher expectations and greater impact. All participants work through the Imara Chatter, our secure cloud-based collaboration platform, which connects professionals from around the world and enables seamless coordination.

Once your application is accepted, you will receive access to Imara’s internal systems and guidance on how to contribute effectively. To join, you must be at least 25 years old, have completed—or be close to completing—a university degree, and be ready to uphold the professionalism our mission requires. Your location does not matter—our work is global, and so is our team.
