Our Identity
The Meaning Behind Our Logo
Our logo is more than a visual mark—it reflects the values, vision, and long-term resilience that guide Imara-IHG. Below, we share the story behind its shape, colors, and symbolism.
Our logo is more than just a visual identity—it is a reflection of our values, our mission, and the vision that drives Imara-IHG forward. At its core, the design features three distinct leaves arranged above the word “Imara,” each element carefully chosen to represent a deeper meaning.
For decades, society has operated within three major spheres: the private sector, civil society, and government. The three leaves symbolize these pillars, acknowledging their essential and distinct roles in shaping the world. But just as important is what unites them. That’s where Imara comes in—positioned beneath the leaves, it represents the foundation, the force that connects these sectors and gives them common ground. Imara is not just a bridge; it is the place they all stand upon, a shared purpose that binds them in service of resilience and collective progress.
There’s another layer of symbolism embedded in our logo. For many, the four-leaf clover is a symbol of luck, hope, and completeness. Imara is the missing fourth leaf, the one that completes the picture—representing good fortune, balance, and the potential to thrive even in the face of uncertainty.
If you trace the leaves from left to right, you’ll begin to see the outline of a circle. That bottom leaf—Imara—closes the loop. It is the final piece, the completion of something whole and intentional.
This symbolism aligns perfectly with our Path to Resilience, a journey we guide our clients through in four strategic steps. The fourth step is the most meaningful: it is where organizations move beyond preparation and adaptation to become truly resilient. Imara represents that final transformation—where everything comes together and resilience becomes real, lived, and sustainable.
Our logo tells a story of unity, purpose, and the power of completion. It reminds us that while each sector plays a role, only by working together—through Imara—can we build something strong, enduring, and truly resilient.
